Artist Statement

If you've scrolled all the way down here you can tell I love natural landscapes! 

I have a passion for using the rich colors of oil paint to recreate brilliant scenes that offer viewers an experience as if they are there.  My paintings provide an escape from the busy modern world into the quiet mountain views that so many of us long for.

I want to promote land conservation, preserving our public lands, and making changes to fight the climate crisis.  I'd be overwhelmed in life if I couldn't rejuvenate in wild places.
